Let events trigger the need for evidence — not AI prompts.

CI/CD pipelines, IoT sensors, inventory systems, digital supply chains and standard webhooks can use this without a model, a browser or an AI agent. CloudEvents 1.0 is the event envelope; the owner chooses whether to buy. The free quote never initiates a payment.

Step 1. Screen events for free

Read machine-readable example and schema hints. POST that JSON to /v1/machine-reflex/quote; get triggered and finding codes. Healthy events recommend no purchase. Your software decides whether to proceed.

Step 2. Optional automatic, budgeted incident purchase

When a real anomaly is reported, POST the same event to /v1/machine-reflex-evidence at $0.019 USDC via buyer-authorized x402, or use /v1/prepaid/machine-reflex-evidence with an existing customer-funded prepaid API key. No seller-funded charge or automatic wallet signing.

Step 3. Plug in a real machine

For ordinary CI systems, download an inactive GitHub Actions example. Nothing is installed or enabled automatically. Every purchasing organization must activate its own integration.

Download Node 20+ buyer integration and pass the event as stdin: node machine-reflex-client.mjs < event.json. Default mode only checks the free quote. To authorize a paid call, the purchasing organization must set REFLEX_EXECUTE_PAID=yes, REFLEX_BUYER_AUTHORIZED=yes, REFLEX_MAX_PRICE_USD=0.02 and a privately stored, customer-owned funded BOUNTY_API_KEY.

These are deterministic checks on supplied data, not independently verified sensor readings. Incident evidence is hashed but not externally signed or notarized. CloudEvents specification: CNCF CloudEvents. API: OpenAPI.
